PRODUCT SUMMARY
The AxleTech International PRC1756 W3H series planetary rigid axle is engineered to meet the rugged demands placed on heavy-duty off-highway and specialty vehicles. Typical applications include heavy-duty lift trucks, dock spotters, loaders, mining and specialty vehicles. Axle capacities are vocation dependent and range from 37,500-110,000 lbs. (16,900-50,000 kg.) depending on vehicle vocation.
The PRC1756 W3H planetary rigid axle offers a wide selection of gear ratios, load capacities and track widths. The PRC1756 W3H is engineered for demanding traction conditions, and offers increased torque capacity versus previous models which increases life in rugged environments. A limited slip differential, as well as NoSPIN, DCDL and HDL, are available as options for improved traction. A right hand hypoid carrier option is also available for optimized driveline angles.
The PRC1756 W3H design helps reduce maintenance costs. Standard axle housing and wheel end magnets help reduce metallic contamination between scheduled lubrication intervals and eliminates initial drain requirement. A carrier input mounted caliper disc park brake option is available.

Important Features
Brakes:The axle features the field proven AxleTech 360 mm wheel-speed design. The brake comes with a 6-plate option tailored to the customer’s needs. The 360 mm 6-plate Service Brake is rated at 125 bar (1,800 psi) and will provide 42,400 Nm (375,000 in lb) torque per brake.
Differential Carrier: The differential carrier design includes all the features of the proven RS145 AxleTech carrier – improved carrier to housing joint, long life differential design, standard ring gear thrust screw and larger precision bearings.
Park Brake: Optional model 1270 park brake at the input location with 406 mm disc.
General Axle Features:
