PLANETARY RIGID AXLES PRLC124 SERIES
PRODUCT SUMMARY
The AxleTech International PRLC124 series axle is engineered to meet the increasing demands of the medium-duty industrial lift truck market. With an axle capacity of 24,300 lbs.(11,000 kg.), this axle covers lift capacities ranging from 7,700-11,000 lbs. (3.5-5.0 M.T.).
The PRLC124 planetary rigid axle is available with an 11.64:1.0 overall gear ratio and a possible range from 10.53-30.84 :1.0 . The new patented carrier and wheel end designs provide performance characteristics specific to the medium-duty industrial lift truck market.
Engineered for compatibility with demanding traction conditions, the PRLC124 axle meets the trend of increased driveline torque, tire size and loading requirements; and provides durability for extended life cycle. Life cycle enhancements include: housing magnets and needle rollers at the planet gears.
The PRLC124 design will help to reduce end-user maintenance costs. The standard 9.0 inch (229 mm) diameter oil-immersed hydraulically-actuated wet disc brakes are insulated from the external contaminates and provide longer life and less downtime and maintenance. The mechanical parking brake feature eliminates the need for a driveline brake by combining service, parking, and emergency braking into a single braking unit. For severe duty cycles, optional forced-cooling ports are available to allow for an auxiliary cooling system.
The axle input is direct to the transmission housing mount and machined trunions interface with the lift truck for easy mounting.
