PLANETARY RIGID AXLES
PRLC874 SERIES

PRODUCT SUMMARY

The AxleTech PRLC874 series axle is engineered to meet the increasing powerful demands of the heavy-duty industrial lift truck market. With a capacity range up to 75,000 lbs. (34,000 kg.), this axle covers a broad range of lift truck applications.

The PRLC874 planetary rigid axles offer a wide selection of gear ratios, load capacities, and brakes for performance characteristics tailored to your needs.

Engineered for compatibility with demanding traction conditions, the PRLC874 meets the trend of increased driveline torque, tire sizes and loading requirements that provide an extra ruggedness for prolonged use and life. A limited slip differential is also available for improved traction vocation requirements.

The PRLC874 design helps reduce OEM/end-user maintenance costs. A standard unitized seal reduces the likelihood of oil leaks. Extra housing magnets are optional, to help reduce metallic contamination between scheduled lubricant change intervals.

Brake options include: wheel mounted wet disc or cam actuated mechanical drum brakes, and multiple axle tracks. For severe duty cycles, optional force-cooling ports are available on wet disk brakes to allow for auxiliary cooling. Mechanical wear indicators are now available to permit visual inspection without axle/wet disc disassembly.

AxleTech planetary rigid axles are tough, dependable, and thoroughly proven under the most severe conditions.

AxleTech International is the former Rockwell® Off Highway Products Division.
