CHARLOTTE, N.C. – General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), today appointed Gerry Giudici as vice president and general manager of its AxleTech International subsidiary, reporting to Michael Mulligan, the company’s president. Giudici succeeds Mary Petrovich, who has been the senior executive of AxleTech International since 2002. Petrovich is leaving the company for personal reasons. The appointment will be effective June 3.
Giudici joined AxleTech as vice president of business development in January 2006, and since then has been responsible for all original equipment and remanufacturing sales, as well as the company’s marketing, alliances and contracting efforts. Giudici began his career in 1985, serving in finance and planning positions with General Motors. He then gained extensive international experience with TRW Automotive, AlliedSignal, Delphi and two private equity companies involved with automotive services before joining AxleTech. He has a bachelor’s degree in industrial administration from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University) and a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

I appreciate her contributions to the company during AxleTech’s integration into General Dynamics and wish her well in the future.”
