Troy, Michigan – AxleTech International is expanding its product line with the 6000 Series axle, which will be on display at Bauma 2016. The 6000 Series is designed to meet the demands of heavy off-highway applications with a rating of up to 85,000 lb gross axle weight and includes configurations for wet disc, s-cam, and air disc brakes. The 6000 Series rigid axle is engineered for compatibility with increasing driveline torques and loading requirements.
“We built upon the legacy of our proven PRC785 axle by increasing strength and load rating, while reducing production costs. This is a key part of our product portfolio strategy that delivers improved innovation, flexibility, and responsiveness. Our strategy is driving significant developments to the next generation of AxleTech drivetrain solutions,” said Carl Ellis, Director of Product Line Management at AxleTech.
“The 6000 Series is the beginning of many more innovations to come,” added Ellis. AxleTech International is exhibiting at Bauma from April 11-17 in Hall C2-Stand 428.
