Troy, Michigan – AxleTech International is expanding its commercial product portfolio with solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles.
AxleTech is developing a complete line of electric drivetrain systems aimed at providing operating efficiency, optimized packaging, and quietness. The new product portfolio covers electric axles, wheel ends, and gear boxes; all serving a range of transit and heavy duty electric vehicles.
The electric drivetrain systems product offering complements AxleTech’s extensive line of axles, brakes, and gear boxes used in traditional on-highway and specialty off-highway applications.
Capitalizing on years of experience in designing and developing custom-engineered drivetrain systems, the company is well positioned to provide the next generation of electric drives.
“We have leveraged our gearing expertise and industry-proven drivetrain systems to provide our customers with complete and unique solutions, and are shipping these products today,” said Tyler Bean, Vice President of Sales at AxleTech International.
