The AxleTech International PSC265 planetary steerable axle is engineered to meet the increasing demands of heavy duty off-highway market vocations. Typical vocational usages include rail car shuttle and special vehicle applications. This axle is widely accepted in these vocational segments due to its axle capacity of 20,000 lb (9,100 kg). The PSC265 planetary steerable axle offers a wide selection of gear ratios and its narrow track allows this axle to be tailored to your needs.

Engineered for compatibility with demanding traction conditions, the PSC265 meets the trend of increased driveline torque, tire sizes and loading requirements that provide an extra ruggedness for prolonged use, as well as life. A limited slip differential with a 2.0 bias ratio, as well as NoSPIN®, are available as options for improved traction in certain vocational markets.

The PSC265 design helps reduce the OEM/end-user maintenance costs. A standard carrier unitized seal reduces the likelihood of oil leaks. Extra axle housing magnets are available, as an option to help reduce metallic contamination between scheduled lubricant change intervals.
